Over 90% of people with MND have no family history of the disease, affecting men and women of every race, ethnicity, and age. The good news is that you can help with simple acts\u2014spread awareness, donate, or volunteer. Every person with MND has a right to the best possible quality of life on their journey with MND, and we need your support to help them because we can\u2019t do this alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a non-profit organisation, MND Malaysia relies solely on<strong> volunteers<\/strong> and <strong>donations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"volunteer\"><strong>Volunteer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re always on the lookout for people that can help with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Companionship during home visits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physiotherapy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hair Styling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optometry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Videography<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make-up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction\/Renovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nursing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Register <a href=\"https:\/\/form.typeform.com\/to\/fOipaOug\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/form.typeform.com\/to\/fOipaOug\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> if you can volunteer and would like to support our vision of a world without MND.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"donate\"><strong>Donate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your donations will fund the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>The maintenance and purchase of supportive care equipment,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MND events &amp; activities, and&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>government-related submission expenditure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How To Donate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>two ways to donate<\/strong>, either via bank transfer or scan the QR code:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Make a bank transfer to Persatuan Penyakit Motor Neuron Malaysia&#8217;s Maybank Account (Account Number: 514-123-636-197). In the reference\/note field, key in your phone number and last name (no space).
