(Being Real – Learning From The Community) ~ Dr. Sylvia McCarthy is the Medical Director of Hospis Malaysia. She leads her team of doctors and nurses to provide palliative care to patients in Klang Valley in their homes. Dr McCarthy is also part of the teaching faculty for Asia Pacific Palliative Care Network and honorary lecturer for Universiti Malaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia, UiTM.

Dr. Punitha is currently practising in Hospis Malaysia as a community palliative care doctor. She is currently pursuing her MSc degree in Palliative Care at the Cicely Saunders Institute of King’s College London.

Miss Nurul Nadiah is an experienced Palliative Care Nurse. She joined Hospis Malaysia in 2013 and has since then providing excellent palliative care to the patients in the community in Klang Valley.
