This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by MND Malaysia (the “Organization”).  This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our websites, mobile sites, social media sites or when you interact with us.

By using our sites, you agree to these Terms of Use as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection

We collect information:

When you give it to us directly

  • Contact Us: When you contact us through the contact information provided on our contact pages on the website for any reason, we will collect the information you voluntarily provide to us.
  • Donation: All donations are handled through an established third-party service provider payment gateway platform, while the privacy policy of the payment gateway platform applies for the latter.
  • Registration: When you submit your registration and application through our forms available on the websites to join our program or request for our services, with the information you provided to us with your consent. 

When you use our websites

We may automatically collect the following information with regard to each of your visits to the website:

  • Technical information: including the Operating System (OS) and platform, browser type and version
  • Details of your visits: to the website, including but not limited to every ‘HTTP Query’ your browser client sent to our third-party service provider web hosting platform’s server(s); the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from the Website (including date and time); page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data. Information Sharing

(Third-Party Service Providers)

We may share your personal information data with the following categories of third parties:

  • we use encryption and security protocols (SSL – Secure Socket Layer) when processing financial transactions that are processed through a third-party Payment Gateway Service Provider.
  • We use social buttons provided by services like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button.  These social buttons let you share actions you take on our sites with other media, and vice versa.  The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with a platform that provides the social sharing feature.  Your use of these third-party services is entirely optional.  We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of these third-party services, and you are responsible for reading and understanding those third-party services’ privacy policies.
  • We use Google Analytics (traffic analysis, SEO optimization) to collect general traffic, site usage and length of stay information of those who visit the website; to help the organization to improve the functionality of our website.  Google Analytics collects information anonymously and reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.  Google Analytics uses its own set of cookies to track visitor interactions, which are used to store information such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the website.  Google Analytics customers are obliged to notify users of their use of analytics software.  To disable this type of cookie, some browsers will indicate when a cookie is being sent and allow you to decline cookies on a case-by-case basis. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on in your browser, which prevents Google Analytics from collecting information about your website visits.

The website contains links to or from other websites, that we are not responsible for their privacy policies, security, or contents; you are to read their terms and conditions and privacy policies. This privacy policy applies only to the information we collect on the website.  

Acceptance of Terms of Use

BY ACCESSING MND MALAYSIA’S WEBSITES, MOBILE SITES, SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, YOU ACCEPT WITHOUT LIMITATION OR QUALIFICATION THESE TERMS OF USE (the “Terms of Use”); IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

Notification of Changes

We reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, revise, add or remove portions of these Privacy Policy at anytime when we need to without notifying you, you hereby agree that you shall check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes that have been made, as they are legally binding on you.  Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. Please note that our rights to use personal information provided by you when you access to our sites will be based on the policy in effect at the time the information is used.
