At the same time to express our gratitude and appreciation to an anonymous donor for a RM100,000 donations to MND Malaysia (Persatuan Penyakit Motor Neuron Malaysia)

An 82-year-old philanthropist, who wished to remain anonymous, left a lasting legacy of love by donating RM100,000 to the Malaysian MND Association before his passing in 2023. Through his niece, Ms. L, fulfilled his final wish by entrusting the donation to MND patient & MND Ambassador, Tan Shu Hua, founder of the “OK I Love U” Facebook page.

Ms. L was inspired by Tan Shu Hua’s resilience and the Malaysian MND Association’s efforts to support MND patients. The donation will aid the association’s initiatives, including providing medical devices, caregiver services, and community programs & activities to improve patients’ quality of life.

Benny Ng, Chairman of the MND Association, expressed deep gratitude, calling the donation a “shot in the arm” that reaffirms their mission. Tan Shu Hua, moved to tears, emphasized the significance of trust and love behind the gesture, hoping it inspires long-term public support for MND patients.
This act of kindness highlights the power of selfless love and trust, offering hope and warmth to the ALS community.
